Well you certainly don't waste any time.

[He moves forward before something occurs to him and he stops.]

...My fangs are going to get in the way, Kimbley.

[He can keep them hidden, but they're still much longer than any normal human's.]

[Kimbley smirks, showing off his own fangs with a casualness to mask how incredibly tense he feels about this.]

Mine will make this interesting, too, don't you think?

[This isn't a situation he's found himself in before. He's found people attractive before, sure. On a physical level, he's found it very easy to find people whom he considers pretty. Love, by contrast, is something utterly foreign to him.

He's not even certain that "love" is the right word for this, but to be honest, he doesn't have a damn clue what to call it. This is certainly something he wouldn't do for anyone but Archer. If that's love, it's... intimate, but as good a description as any.]

If I didn't know better, I'd wonder if you're stalling on purpose.

I'm not stalling, I just don't want to cut you.

[Because with his luck he will and that won't end well. Archer can't exactly be a sane person around blood, after all.]

[He edges a bit closer. "Stalling" isn't exactly the right word, but he's certainly hesitant.]

Well, it's not like I bleed.

[It's said in a teasing manner, but he's pretty serious. He can't exactly be hurt by Archer if he doesn't have a heartbeat, can he?]

Come on, don't hold back. It's not like I'm fragile.

[...That is a good point. He's never bothered to figure out if he can bleed or not, so he just sort of assumed...]

I know you're not fragile.

[But he finally closes the gap between them, reaching out awkwardly to touch Kimbley's cheek before pulling him into a kiss.]

[Kimbley hesitates for a moment longer before he makes a soft, pleased noise, wrapping one arm around the back of Archer's head. He kisses back eagerly, though he doesn't do anything but hold Archer carefully, hyper aware of his claws.]

[Oh come on, Kimbley. It'll take more than that to hurt him! He's not fragile either!

That said, once Kimbley seems to be enjoying himself, Archer relaxes a lot. It's been a long time since he's done anything like this, but this is nice.]

[True, true, but it's not like Kimbley knows whether or not Archer would find being clawed particularly erotic. It's safer to assume he wouldn't want to be clawed up, isn't it?

...it's possible this is going to get awkward as hell very quickly, since neither of them have to breath anymore.]

[That's a good point... He really isn't fond of any sort of pain, after all.

Well, thankfully Archer seems to realize that this will probably get weird if they go forever so he draws back after a moment. He doesn't pull away entirely, of course.]

[He looks pleased, at least. Kimbley nuzzles against Archer, just slightly. He keeps his arm wrapped around the other man for the time being.]

Yeah. I guess it does.

[He leans in, just slightly, and nips at Archer's earlobe. It's gentle enough that even if Archer had a heartbeat, he probably wouldn't bleed. It's enough of a reminder that Kimbley has horrifyingly sharp teeth without the actual danger.]

But maybe I'm not satisfied with just a kiss.

[Archer rolls his eyes again, but he reaches up to mess with Kimbley's hair playfully anyway.]

What do you have in mind?

[He's probably going to say that Kimbley's moving too fast, but he's curious.]

I'd like to go all the way, if you don't mind.

[Ding ding ding! He's going way too fast.]

[He doesn't pull away and his tone isn't too harsh, but he is putting his foot down.]

We haven't even decided what we want to do about this.

[He grumbles at that, frowning. He's a wendigo; Kimbley had been impatient and quick to move fast before, but now the idea of moving slowly once he's set his mind to something is intolerable.]

You make it sound like this is such an easy decision for you.

[Just the same, he's not pulling away, or doing anything but holding Archer.]

What do you mean? Coming to this conclusion in the first place wasn't easy, but I know it's a bad idea to move quickly.

[But then again he's used to sleeping around with no strings attached.]

When one of us could vanish at any moment without warning, I don't see the point in taking our time.

[Very few things scare him, but the idea of being stranded here, alone, without Archer is one of them.]

[Even if he thinks it's unlikely that he'll ever have any. He hasn't had any yet, anyway. Still, this is one of those situations where he's not going to push as much as he otherwise would.

Archer does mean enough to Kimbley for him not to demand anything of him.]

...I suppose we don't need to take it that slow... But we should figure out what we're doing about this. Are you interested in dating or...?

[He wraps his other arm around Archer's shoulder at that. It's awkward, and he isn't quite sure he's doing the right thing, but he nevertheless holds Archer.]

Does it need a name? We're here together, we feel the same way about each other; what does it matter what we call it?

[He doubts it, since Kimbley's got some issues with his appearance, but it's better to figure this all out now.]

[At that, Kimbley laughs unpleasantly. He has to pull away out of the hug to cover his mouth.]

Look at me; do you think I want to get anywhere near any local who would want to sleep with me?

No, Archer, I'm not going to be seeing other people.

He moves carefully after a moment, smirking, but no longer laughing from self loathing. Kimbley doesn't move back to wrapping his arms around Archer, instead he awkwardly shoves his hands into his pockets.]

Though I'm gonna have to question your tastes a little.
